Attention Crew 342:
Here we have another newsletter. This what went on at the August 2nd meeting.

1- The crew has a spot at the council-wide program preview. The program preview is
designed to inform scoutmasters of what is going on in the Old North State Council
during the following year. Me and McCrae will be attending to present our crew. The
program preview is scheduled for Thursday, August 16 at 7:00 PM at the council office.

2- The pool party is still scheduled for August 18 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. GET THE
WORD OUT! It is very important to get interested people to attend to help our crew
succeed.

3- We will be helping with trash pickup at the golf tournament this year. The crew will
get $2 per hour for each crew member who helps. We need as many of you as possible to
help. The tournament is from August 13 - 18. The intro meeting and setup is August 11 at
9:00 AM. The teardown party is August 20. PLEASE CALL ME OR MCCRAE ASAP TO LET US KNOW
WHEN YOU CAN HELP!

4- As many of us have wanted for a while, we now have a definited meeting schedule
established. We will meet on the second and fourth Thursdays of every month (no more
every-other-week thing). Please take note of the new schedule and attend the meetings.
The more members at a meeting the more we can accomplish.

5- The next meeting will be August 9. That is the second Thursday of the month and will
officially start our new meeting schedule.
