Welcome Back!! We hope that you had a great summer and are looking forward to an exciting
Scout year. 

Our recruiting effort at Pleasant Garden Elementary will be next Thursday, September 13,
at 6:30 pm. We will not have a meeting at the church that night. Please plan to come to
the school and help out there. (Leaders, there is also a popcorn information meeting at
the scout office that same night at 7:30 pm. Can someone go to this in my place?) 

The annual popcorn fundraiser sale will begin on Monday, October 1, 2007. I will be giving
out sales information on September 27 for this.  

This year the district is changing the way we run our fall Camporee at Woodfield. Due to
the number of changes, we will be having a mandatory training session at the scout office
on Thursday, October 11 from 7 – 9 pm. Each pack that is attending the Camporee must have
at least 1 leader present. This training will also offer BB and Archery instructor
certification training. As many leaders as possible should attend.  

The pack will not meet at the church on October 11 so that our leaders may attend this
training. 

Our annual Fall Family Camporee at Woodfield will be on October 26, 27, & 28 this year.
All family members are invited to attend. Dale has a sign up sheet for this tonight.
